Buying Art Prints Online

Refinery29 recently wrote about buying art. Granted they talk about it solely as a means to revamping your apartment, but what the hey, we know it’s totally more than that. I’m thrilled anytime people talk about buying art! Fashion writer Bobby Schuessler picks his favorite pieces from a few online art sellers. While his choices are okay… I think I can do better! (Or here’s what I would buy):

While these prints are not numbered or part of a limited edition, Society6 is a great way to scope out artists.

These are a mix of numbered prints and limited editions.

These are all signed and limited edition prints.

Well, there it is. Schuessler goes on to pick more work from Thumbtack Press, Etsy, and Fab.com. I personally find those sites overwhelming, so it’s best if you know what you are looking for first. And Methane Studios sells a small selection of limited edition prints, but seems to specialize in Dave Matthews Band posters – a great resource if that’s your thing!
